(ORAL) Through the instant appeal, the claimants have prayed for enhancement of compensation awarded by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Kurukshetra, vide award dated 29.09.2009.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that in view of latest pronouncement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in National Insurance Co. Ltd. Vs. Pranay Sethi and others, 2017(4) RCR (Civil) 1009, the compensation so to be awarded to the appellants comes to `8,97,076/-. The Tribunal has already awarded `7,00,000/- as compensation. Therefore, the appellants are held entitled to `1,97,076/- over and above awarded amount.

Respondent No.3-Insurance Company is directed to deposit the amount aforesaid before the Tribunal within one month from today along Ravinder Singh 2018.03.28 15:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document with interest @7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition

-2FAO No.3299 of 2010 (O&M) till realization for onward disbursement to the appellants in proportion, so to be arrived at by the Tribunal in accordance with law. Disposed of.
