(Oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 3 to correct name of petitioner's mother in DC of 10+2 issued by respondent No. 3 dated 02.05.2019 (P-8). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was born on 12.10.2001 and in his admission form in 8th class and matriculation certificate, the name of the mother of the petitioner was mentioned as Sukhwinder Kaur. The name of the mother of the petitioner has been mentioned as Sukhwinder Kaur in passport of the petitioner as well (P-5). However, the petitioner has passed out his examination of 10+2 in the year 2019 from school of respondent No. 4 and CBSE i.e respondent Nos.
2 and 3 issued the pass out certificate of the petitioner Sher Singh wherein the name of the mother of the petitioner has been wrongly mentioned as Sukhvinder Singh in place of Sukhwinder Kaur. Petitioner now wants to correct the name of his mother and he has given his application to GAURAV ARORA 2020.11.
CWP No. 18305 of 2020 respondent No. 4 and the same was forwarded to the Regional Office, CBSE Panchkula i.e respondent No. 3 dated 06.06.2020. On a speicif query put to learned counsel for the petitioner, he submitted that Mr. Kanan Malik, Advocate appears for CBSE. Notice of motion.
On asking of the Court, Mr. Kanan Malik, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 2 and 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner shall inform Mr. Kanan Malik, Advocate and email copy of the petition to him. Without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is being disposed of by giving direction to respondent No.3 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 06.06.2020 (P-9) by passing a speaking order, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
