*** MANOJ BAJAJ, J. (Oral) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C for grant of regular bail pending trial in case FIR No.34 dated 29.01.2019, registered under Sections 22-C/61/85 of NDPS Act, 1985 at Police Station Rania, District Sirsa. The petitioner is in custody since his arrest on 17.05.2019.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Rajesh Kumar, states that in all there are 24 prosecution witnesses and out of those, 21 witnesses have already been examined. It is pointed out that the case is coming up before the trial Court for recording prosecution evidence on 23.11.2022.

Faced with this advanced stage of the trial Court, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition and prays for withdrawal.

The prayer is accepted.
