Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing of order dated 15.09.2016, whereby the claim of the petitioner for regularization in service has been rejected and for directing it to be considered under the regularization policy dated 01.10.2003.

Learned counsel submits that after passing of the aforesaid order, this Court has considered the similar issue in Ashish Sharma and Others vs. State of Haryana and Others, CWP-2158-2020 and other connected cases, decided on 13.03.2024 by relying on State of Haryana and others vs. Balwinder Singh and others, LPA-688-2021, decided on 02.12.2022 and prays that his case may be reconsidered in a time bound manner, in light of the above.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to reconsider and decide the claim of the petitioner, taking note of the aforesaid judgments, within a period of six months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
