Petitioner, an aspirant for the post of Assistant Professor in Chemistry in Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology,Bathinda is seeking a writ of certiorari seeking quashing the selection criteria adopted by the selection committee and the select list. Further prayer is for issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondents to consider and appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Chemistry. At the time of hearing,counsel seeks permission to withdraw the petition as Annexures to the writ petition have not been properly placed and further liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action.
