By this common order, CWP Nos. 18893 to 18898 of 2017 and 19182 of 2017 are hereby adjudicated as common questions of law and facts are involved. With the consent of both sides, facts are borrowed from CWP No.18893 of 2017.

The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of award dated 01.06.2017 (Annexure P-15) whereby Industrial Tribunal, Gurdaspur had ordered to reinstate the workman with continuity of service and 50% back wages.

The petitioner-management and workman have entered into a compromise. They have executed a compromise deed dated 30.03.2024 (Annexure P-20). As per compromise deed, the petitioners shall withdraw the above-mentioned Civil Writ Petitions and workmen shall withdraw their execution applications pending before Industrial Tribunal, Gurdaspur. 4.

Counsel for respondent-workmen confirms the factum of compromise deed and assures the Court that workmen would withdraw their execution applications in terms of the afore-said compromise. 5.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the instant petitions stand disposed of in terms of compromise deed executed between the parties. Parties shall abide by the terms of the compromise. 6.
