It is contended that the petitioners are entitled for consideration for regularization of their services in terms of policy dated 17.11.2011, Annexure P7. Petitioners were appointed after due advertisement by the department itself. Recommendation for the regularization of their services was forwarded by the Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, Mohali vide Annexure P8 alongwith other employees to respondent No.2. Out of 91 persons recommended, services of 51 employees were regularized vide Annexure P9. Legal notice dated 04.10.2015, Annexure P11 has been served upon the respondents however, no action has been taken thereon. Keeping in view the limited prayer, the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to expeditiously decide legal notice dated 04.10.2015 Annexures P11, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
