Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on account of Covid-19 (pandemic) the petitioners were unable to deposit the due amount as demanded by the respondents and this Court vide order dated 30.10.2020 directed the petitioners to deposit 50% of the amount and accordingly the petitioners deposited the same. Hence, further proceedings were stayed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners upon instructions stated that the petitioners are also ready to deposit the remaining 50% of the amount within a period of four weeks from today.

Keeping in view the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, we allow them to deposit the remaining 50% of the amount within a period of four weeks. The respondents shall act accordingly.
