The Election Petition was preferred by the petitioner on 15.04.2025 (Annexure P-2) and the statue provides a period of six months for deciding the petition under Section 80 (6) of the Punjab State Election Commission Act, 1994. We are of the considered view that this petition appears to be premature at this stage.
