3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J . (Oral) This order shall dispose of Civil Writ Petition Nos.23457 and 27260 of 2015 as a common order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench, is under challenge in both these petitions.

For the reasons assigned in the order dated 29.04.2016 passed in CWP No.16157 of 2015 (Shilpa Jindal versus Central MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.06.13 13:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP Nos.23457 and 27260 of 2015 [2] Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench and others) and connected case, no relief for regularization of services can be granted to the petitioners in the instant case as they were appointed on contractual posts. The writ petition(s) are thus liable to be dismissed.

Ordered accordingly.

Learned counsel for the petitioners however, has placed on record a communication dated 07.01.2016 suggesting that 20 additional faculty (teaching) posts to be filled on contract basis and to be paid out of the contingent grant of the Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (Degree Wing), Chandigarh, have been created.

If that is so and if the respondent-authorities require to engage teachers on contract basis, dismissal of the instant writ petition(s) shall not be an impediment against consideration of claim of the petitioners.

Ordered accordingly.
