JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL Present: Mr. Mukesh Pandit, Advocate, for the petitioners --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents no.2 to 4/official respondents to file/present the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. in FIR No.93 dated 1.5.2024, under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Balongi, District SAS Nagar in a time bound manner. Further, directions have been sought to respondents no.2 to 4 to decide the representation dated 29.6.2024 and for handing over the investigation of the present case to any independent investigating agency. Direction is also sought to respondents no.2 to 4 to arrest respondent no.5, who is involved in the aforesaid FIR and to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners.

The petition is pre-mature as investigation has not been completed and final report has not been submitted to the Court. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners faced with this situation, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage. 4.

Prayer is accepted.
