The instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the representation dated 13.04.2026 (Annexure P-9).

The petitioner's grievance in this PIL is that despite private persons i.e. respondents No.4 to 6, being unauthorised occupants of land belonging to the Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar, no action is being taken against them.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has already moved representation dated 13.04.2026 (Annexure P-9) before the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Yamuna Nagar, but till date no action thereon has been taken. CWP-PIL-142-2026 -2further submits that at this stage, for the purpose of the instant petition, the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are given to respondent no.3 to consider and pass an appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2026 (Annexure P-9) in a time bound manner. 4.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the aforesaid representation will be considered in accordance with law. 5.

In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the representation dated 13.04.2026 (Annexure P-9) moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing an appropriate order, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.

Copy of the order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner as well.
