**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 100 dated 18.6.2019, registered under Sections 408, 420, 477-A, 120-B IPC, Police Station Sadar Nabha, District Patiala. On 22.7.2019, arrest of the petitioner was stayed and he was granted interim bail considering the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was willing to consider some reasonable amicable settlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has compromised the matter with complainant Rakesh Kumar Gaba and his wife Shalu Gaba on 11.11.2019 and the complainant has also accepted that they have no objection if the FIR in question is quashed. He further submits that pursuant to the order dated 22.7.2019 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 22.7.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
