(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his wife (who are senior citizens and are suffering from various medical ailments), at the hands of respondent No.6. 2.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be content and satisfied in case his complaint/representation dated 21.04.2025 (Annexure P-8) be decided in a time bound manner.

On oral request of learned counsel for the petitioner, Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner, U.T. Chandigarh are hereby impleaded as a respondent party and the Registry is directed to do the needful in this regard.
