On 26.07.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to issue police clearance certificate to the petitioner.
The petitioner is staying in Australia and he has applied for renewal of passport which expired in 2022. The petitioner has been issued passport till 2033, however, on account of non-submission of police clearance certificate by respondent No. 2, the petitioner is unable to get PR in Australia. The petitioner has already filed petition seeking quashing of FIR as well Lookout Circular issued by the respondent-State. Notice of motion, returnable for 11.09.2023.
