ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Revision petition, herein, arises out of an order dated 19.08.2021, whereby, Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) cum Rent Controller, Ludhiana has dismissed an application of the petitioner/tenant for production of original passport of the landlord, alleging that the rent petition has been filed by a person, who claims himself to be the power of attorney of the NRI landlord is settled in America. 2.

The allegation is that the dates given in the Power of Attorney do not correspond with the presence of the landlord NRI and the same can only be proved by production of the passport. 3.

Having perused the order and after hearing the arguments, no grounds to interfere are made out.

Assuming it to be a forged Power of Attorney, though a prima facie observation for the sake of arguments, as canvassed by learned counsel VANDANA 2021.09.23 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

for the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner/tenant to institute appropriate proceedings qua the same in accordance with law. The same cannot be adjudicated in revisional jurisdiction of this Court. 5.

Dismissed.
