The defendant-petitioner, through this petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, prays for setting aside the order dated 06.05.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Gurugram, whereby the application moved by it under Section 35 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, for impounding of the LOI/rent agreement has been dismissed.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it has been held in the impugned order that the stage to seek the impounding would arise when the concerned document is tendered into evidence. However, admittedly, the said occasion is yet to arise. 3.
In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to raise all lawfully SUMIT KUMAR 2025.03.10 16:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
