The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.90, dated 04.08.2021 registered for offence under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur.

CRM-M-39670-2021 (O&M) --2-- It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has joined the investigation and fully cooperated and thus, the interim order may kindly be made absolute.

Learned State counsel has affirmed the above-stated fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation. However, learned counsel for the complainant has vehemently opposes the same and stated that the recovery of dowry articles remains to be effected.
