The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to renew his passport.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that police after completing investigation has presented its report in FIR No. 31 dated 25.02.2020, under Sections 22 and 25 of NDPS Act and in view of Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993, the petitioner is supposed to approach trial court.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach trial court in terms of the afore-stated Notification. 4.
If the petitioner moves an application before trial court in terms of the afore-stated Notification, the trial court would pass an appropriate order expeditiously.
