I am of the view that in the light of Division Bench ruling in CWP No.7829 of 2014 and batch of cases, the marks obtained by students out of 150 marks when it was scaled down to percentage of marks and if it results in decimal it has to be rounded off to the nearest whole number. This logic would apply to every person who had 82 marks in PSTET-I examination. The rounding off shall be done to every candidate who has 82 marks in the manner dealt with by the Division Bench in CWP No.7829 of 2014 and the State shall not force each one of the students who has got 82 marks to come to this Court to take orders. All the petitioners shall have benefit of the same treatment as the petitioners in PANKAJ KUMAR 2015.02.02 12:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The writ petitions are allowed. The State shall issue pass certificates for all the students by treating 82 marks out of 150 marks in the case of students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and differently abled persons to have qualified for in the examination.
