Ms. Lavanya Paul, A.A.G. Punjab RITU BAHRI, J.(Oral) Petitioner is seeking setting aside of order dated 09.09.2020 (P3) whereby he has been ordered to be discharged from the contractual post of Samiti Patwari Learned State counsel on instructions submits that petitioner was appointed on 08.09.2010 on contract basis and he is working for the last 10 years i.e from 08.09.2010 to 09.09.2020. At present the petitioner is 65 years of age and he cannot be allowed to continue to work now. Even if the petitioner is now replaced with another set of contractual employee, he has no right to continue on the post, as he is now 65 years of age.
