**** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Petitioners are seeking quashing of result (P-5) qua the selection of private respondents on the post of Clerk-cum-JDEO under General category.

The precise grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that petitioner was awarded 60.80 marks for the post of Clerk-cumJDEO and on the other hand, private respondents were awarded marks less than the petitioner but still they have been selected and the petitioner has been left out.

C.W.P No. 24292 of 2014 -2On notice, a reply has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2 admitting that the petitioner was having a higher ranking of 60.80 marks falls at Sr. No. 3 in the revised waiting list while the private respondent Nos. 3 to 7 would fall at Sr. Nos. 4, 5, 6, 13 and 15 respectively in the said revised waiting list. In view of the reply filed by respondent Nos. 1 and 2, the present writ petition is allowed and a direction is given to respondent No. 1 and 2 to issue appointment letter to the petitioner on the post of Clerk-cum-JDEO, as per revised merit list, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
