Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks grant of regular bail, in case FIR No.70 dated 22.08.2019, under Sections 22, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985, registered at P.S. City Raikot, District Ludhiana Rural.

This Court had, on 30.01.2024, requisitioned a report from the learned trial Court concerned, detailing therein, the stage of trial as well as the expected time for conclusion of trial. 3.

In response to the directions (supra), a report has been received from the learned trial Court concerned, wherethrough, it has been informed that the trial will be positively disposed of by 15.05.2024. 4.

In view of the report (supra), the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press the instant petition. Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed, as not pressed at this stage.
