Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the advertisement dated 23.09.2016, whereby 101 supervisors were promoted from the Anganwari Workers.

Learned counsel submits that except petitioner Nos.3 and 5, others have been promoted, with regard to which learned State counsel draws the attention of this Court to an additional affidavit dated 12.11.2024 of Deputy Director, Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, Punjab, filed in compliance to order dated 19.04.2024 that the above-said petitioners had submitted application alongwith undertaking dated 20.10.2022 and 28.02.2024, Annexure R-3T and R-5, respectively, stating therein it has been stated that they are not willing to get promoted as Supervisors, a fact which learned counsel for the petitioners was unable to controvert.
