(Oral) Petitioner seek grant of interim bail for 10 days in case bearing FIR No.55 dated 14.05.2021 under Section 302 IPC and under Section 27/54/59 of Arms Act registered at Police Station Sadar Jalalabad, District Fazilka on account of unfortunate demise of his mother on 18.09.2021. Cremation has already taken place on 19.09.2021. Father of the petitioner has already expired. Vide order dated 22.09.2021, State was directed to verify the factum of death of mother of the petitioner vis-a-vis the date on which other ceremonies are to be performed. CRM-M No. 39607 of 2021 -2In compliance of the aforesaid order, a status report by way of affidavit of Sunil Kumar, Inspector/SHO PS Sadar Jalalabad has been filed. The police has verified that Rupa Bai wife of late Jalla Singh resident of Dhani Mangh Singh Wala has expired on 18.09.2021 and her last ceremonies are fixed for 28.09.2021.

Petitioner is facing trial in a murder case.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, I deem it appropriate to grant interim bail to the petitioner for a period of one week, subject to his executing heavy bail bonds/surety bonds with local surety to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.

Petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities on 01.10.2021 positively.
