Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of anticipatory bail, in case, FIR No.144, dated 06.05.2026, under Sections 13(1), 13(3), 3, 8, 17 of The Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Act, 2015, registered at Police Station Sadar Nuh, District Nuh.

As per the allegations, secret information was received by the police party to the effect that petitioner, along with co-accused Islam alias Pappu, was engaged in the business of cow slaughtering and selling beef after slaughtering the animals. It was further informed that on the day in question, both the accused persons were travelling together on a motorcycle, bearing registration No.HR27-L-3055, and if a naka was laid, they could be apprehended.

Notice of motion.

On advance notice, Mr. Parveen Kumar Aggarwal, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondent-State and, on instructions from SI Vijay Singh, submits that the motorcycle, bearing registration No.HR27-L-3055, recovered from the spot, is registered in the name of the present petitioner. It is further submitted that along with the motorcycle, 95 kilograms of beef, black-coloured cow skin, and the severed mouth portion with horns of the animal were also recovered from the spot. 5.

This Court has heard the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and has perused the record made available before it.

Prima facie, the material on record indicates involvement of the petitioner, who allegedly managed to flee from the spot after abandoning the motorcycle and the incriminating material. The motorcycle recovered from the spot is admittedly registered in the name of the petitioner. In view of the prima facie evidence available against him, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for the grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, present petition is dismissed.
