Mr. Manoj Kumar, Advocate for respondent No.5. JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner is working as Multi Health Supervisor (Male) and was transferred/adjusted at Primary Health Centre, Ram Dass, District Amritsar vide order dated 14.10.2016 (P.4). Subsequently vide the impugned order dated 19.10.2016 (P.1), order dated 14.10.2016 (P.4) was cancelled while proceeding to accommodate Paramjeet Singh-respondent No.5 at PHC Ram Dass.

Upon notice, Mz. Sudeepti Sharma, DAG, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of official respondent Nos.1 to 4 whereas Sh. Manoj Kumar, Advocate has appeared for respondent No.5. It transpires that at PHC Ram Dass, out of the staff of five persons, three including Paramjeet Singh-respondent No.5 belong to one family and it would not be in the public interest to have all of them posted at one place.

CWP No.22790 of 2016 #2# Be that as it may, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from his client, who is present in Court prays for withdrawal of the petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn. However, the Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab-respondent No.2 is directed to look into the aspects of posting three members of a family at PHC Ram Dass and if need be, take appropriate action in this regard.
