**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Status report by way of an affidavit of Deputy Supterintendent of Police, Sub Division Tarn Taran filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 in Court today is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Ram Singh, submits that no substance was found in the allegations levelled in the FIR in question as a result of which untraced report has been filed in the case in hand.

In the circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition and seeks liberty to avail the alternate remedy as may be available to him in accordance with law. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
