Khurseed Ahmed v. State Of Punjab

Petitioner has invoked Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of order dated 05.05.2023 (Annexure P-5) whereby the petitioner has been declared as proclaimed offender in FIR No.13 dated 06.02.2018 registered under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station City II Malerkotla, District Malerkotla and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that petitioner has already surrendered before the lower Court and has filed an application for bail which has been rejected, nothing survives in the present petition.
