**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to search the detenue, namely, Deepak Partap (grandson of the petitioner), alleged to have been illegally detained by respondent No.3, by appointing a Warrant Officer. Vide order dated 10.08.2022, a Coordinate Bench of this Court, had appointed a Warrant Officer to accompany the petitioner to search the premises of respondent No.3 or any other place that the petitioner suspected his grandson had been kept. In compliance thereof, report dated 16.08.2022 has been submitted by the Warrant Officer. As per the said report, the alleged detenue was found in the lock-up and was recognized by the petitioner. On a query being put to the SI Randhir Singh present there, it was informed that post registration of FIR No.24 dated 10.08.2022, under AMAN JAIN 2022.08.16 18:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-7746-2022 (O&M) -2Section 25 of the Arms Act and Section 120-B at Police Station State Special Operations, District Intelligence Wing (CID), Deepak Partap was arrested and put behind the bars.

At this stage, learned State counsel, on the instructions from DSP Baldev Singh, submits that the alleged detenue has now been shifted to Juvenile Justice Home, Ludhiana.

As noticed above, the detenue has been arrested in the above noted FIR No.24 dated 10.08.2022. Therefore, no further orders are called for in this petition.

Dismissed.
