Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that inadvertently the present petition has been filed against the order dated 22.9.2020 passed by the trial Court vide which his application under Section 167(2) Cr.PC. for default bail was dismissed, whereas a criminal revision is to be filed against the said order. Learned counsel further submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a revision before the appropriate Court. Notice of the application.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Venu Gopal Jauhar, Sr. DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.
