Mr. Daljit Singh Virk, Advocate, for the petitioner. Rajesh Bhardwaj, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of respondents No.5 to 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that for the redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has already filed representation dated 15.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) before respondent No.3, however, no action has been taken thereon till date.

Notice of motion to the official respondents only. Mr.K.D.Sachdeva, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to decide the representation (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law.
