(Oral) The petitioners, who are working as drivers since 2007 and 2008, seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to pay the increments in accordance to Rule 9 of the Punjab Civil Services (revised pay) Rules, 2009, on the basis of revised grade pay of `2800/-, whereas they are getting grade pay of `2400/-. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted representation dated 24.12.2015 (Annexure P-7) to respondent No.2 but no decision has been taken thereon.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states, that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied, if directions are issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation, referred to above. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 24.12.2015 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioners, by passing a speaking order, within a period of four months, in accordance with law.
