RAJIV NARAIN RAINA, J.(Oral) A similar controversy raised by similarly situated persons has been commented upon by this Court that where relief is due to a class of employees, then their cases should be decided at the level of the State Government without compelling the parties to approach this Court for similar relief. The petitioners are before this Court feeling aggrieved by non-consideration of their cases for grant of pay parity in terms of Annexure P-2, the decision rendered by this Court which has attained finality. Since the law has been declared by this Court, it may not be necessary to waste the further time of this Court by issuing notice of motion only to expect a different reply from the State and, therefore, Mr.Dadwal would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and decide the cases of the petitioners in the light of CWP No.18109 of 2014; MANJU 2015.02.13 12:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CWP No.2387 of 2015 -2Surjit Lal v. State of Punjab and others decided on 3.9.2014 and directions issued in various similar cases including CWP No.19883 of 2014 decided on 26.9.2014 in which similar directions are issued as are being issued in this case. The prayer of Mr.Dadwal is fair and reasonable and a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and decide the cases of the petitioners within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and to handover the monetary benefits accruing from the grant of relief within the next 30 days.
