Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.4 and 5 have filed number of litigations against the petitioner over the dispute with regard to flat No.2-A, Building No.EH172-A, Master Tara Singh Nagar, Jalandhar. They are now posing threat to the life and liberty of petitioner and a representation (Annexure P-3) to this effect was made to the police but no action has been taken.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to represent to Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar (as earlier representation Annexure P-3 is stated to have been sent to SHO, Police Station Navi Baradari, Jalandhar) about her grievance with regard to threat to her life and liberty, which on filing, be looked into, verified and appropriate action, as required shall be taken. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
