Present:
Mr. R.S. Malhotra, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J.
Petitioner has sought a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 16.06.2017, Annexure P-5 passed by respondent no. 2 whereby temporary electric connection has been declined to it. It has been urged before the court that order has been passed without application of mind and, thus, deserves to be set-aside. A perusal of the order shows that Assistant Executive Engineer visited the site on 14.06.2017. He found that there was no building of Gurdwara at the place connection was sought. Only a temporary shed was put up. No proof regarding ownership rights was available. He, thus, rejected the claim of the petitioner for a temporary connection. I find no infirmity with the order. It is evident that the matter was examined by the authorities of respondent-Corporation and plea was declined after due consideration.
