RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court praying for quashing of order dated 14.08.2014, Annexure P-8. It is further prayed to direct the respondents to issue permit to the petitioners with regard to the khair trees, dead and dry as well as miscellaneous trees from the land, which are covered under the Five Year Felling Programme Policy, Annexure P-1, framed by the respondents for benefits of owners/occupiers, as would be apparent from the facts and circumstances of the present petition. However, after hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a representation for redressal of their grievances to respondent No.2, i.e.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Forest Department, SAS Nagar, Mohali, within ten days from today and if the same is filed within the stipulated period, then respondent No.2 is directed to decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of its receipt.
