Through instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to grant the benefit of military service rendered by him during second emergency and grant all other benefits in view of judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.17661-2013. And further to release revised pension and other retiral benefits along with interest @ 18% p.a. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that though petitioner moved representation dated 30.10.2017 (P-4) followed by reminder dated 04.03.2018 (P-5) but till date neither any reply has been received nor any final order has been passed by the respondent(s).

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.4 to decide aforesaid SONIKA 2018.08.16 16:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in representation (P-4) and take a conscious decision, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.
