Counsel for the petitioner submits that a unit was allotted to petitioner under the Affordable Housing Policy, which has been cancelled by respondent No.3 vide order dated 23.03.2026, Annexure P-4 and petitioner has filed a complaint under Section 31 of Haryana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, Annexure P-6, which has been listed for 07.08.2026. Counsel states that an application, Annexure P-8, has been moved for preponement but it has also not been heard. Petitioner has expressed an apprehension that, even before the complaint is heard, private respondent may create third party rights in the allotted unit, which will defeat the claim of petitioner. A request has been made by him for directing Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA) to decide the complaint expeditiously. This Court finds merit in the submission made by counsel for the petitioner. It is evident from the pleadings that petitioner has filed a complaint, Annexure P-6 and its first hearing is to take place in August, 2026. Application for preponement filed by the petitioner is also pending. 3.

In the light of the above, in case petitioner moves an application for interim relief within a fortnight from today, HRERA is requested to hear and decide it within a period of one month of its institution. 4.
