The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction not to grant extension in service to respondent No.4-Raj Kumar Beniwal, Chief Marketing Enforcement Officer who is due to retire on 31.10.2020. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondents No.1 to 3 have been granting extensions in a "pick & choose" manner in contravention of the policy of the State Government and that in case GAURAV SOROT 2020.10.30 18:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
( 2 ) CWP-18206-2020 respondent No.4 is granted extension the same would jeopardize the promotional avenues of the petitioner.

At this stage, Ms. Tanish Peshawaria, DAG, Haryana, upon whom an advance copy of the petition had already been served, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3. Upon instructions from Mr. Harish Kumar, Under Secretary to Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Haryana, she has informed that as on date there is no proposal to grant any extension to respondent No.4.

In view of the aforestated position, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction that in case any matter pertaining to grant of extension in service to respondent No.4 is to be considered, then the representation (Annexure P-6) and Legal Notice (Annexure P-7) be also taken into account before granting any extension.

The petition stands disposed off accordingly. 6.
The learned State counsel is requested to convey a copy of this order to the respondents No.1 to 3 today itself.
