Mr. Prateek Pandit, Advocate for the petitioner. JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner was engaged as Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar on contract basis by the District Legal Services Authority, Kapurthala vide appointment letter dated 08.10.2015 (P.1). The employment was purely on contract basis and his services could be terminated without any notice or assigning any reason.

Due to the petitioner's work being unsatisfactory, his services have been dispensed with vide impugned order dated 27.4.2018 (P.4) passed by the District & Sessions Judge, Kapurthala. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from his client, who is present in Court, prays for unconditional withdrawal of the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
