RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) 1.

Petitioner has approached this Court praying for quashing the impugned Award P-2, dated 21.03.2014, Award P-3, dated 07.01.2013, warrants of arrest P-4, dated 16.12.2014 in Khata No.26/7 UGC and P-5, dated 21.03.2016 in Khata No.146/7 UGC. It is further prayed to direct the respondents to proceed against the petitioner in accordance with the law established by the Punjab Legislature in the Punjab Cooperative Land Mortgage Act, 1957 with a further prayer that during pendency of the present petition, operation of impugned Awards P-2 to P-5 be stayed. 2.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that out of the total outstanding amount of Rs.31.00 lakhs, petitioner has already paid Rs.14.00 lakh and he would also clear rest of the loan amount in due course.

However, learned counsel for the respondent/Bank has refuted the same.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent/Bank and file an appropriate application by 15.07.2024 giving details of the loan cleared and whatsoever is outstanding. The respondent/Bank would take into consideration the same and take further necessary action on giving the personal hearing to the petitioner. 4.

Till 15.07.2024, operation of the arrest warrant shall remain stayed.

However, petitioner would be at liberty to avail his remedies as available to him under the law in case any further cause of action accrues. May 28, 2024 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
