RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) 1.

Petitioner has approached this Court praying for quashing the impugned Award P-2, dated 21.03.2014, Award P-3, dated 07.01.2013, warrants of arrest P-4, dated 16.12.2014 in Khata No.28/7 UGC and Award P-5, dated 21.03.2016 in Khata No.142 UGC and further directing the respondents to proceed against the petitioner in accordance with the law established by the Punjab Legislature in the Punjab Cooperative Land Mortgage Act, 1957 with a further prayer that during pendency of the present petition, operation of impugned Awards P-2 to P-5 be stayed. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has already cleared the outstanding loan amount and thus, there is no grievance left with the respondent/Bank and hence the present petition be disposed of as such.

However, learned counsel for the respondent/Bank has refuted MEENU 2024.05.30 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document the same.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent/Bank and file an appropriate application by 15.07.2024 giving details of the loan cleared. The respondent/Bank would take into consideration the same and take further necessary action on giving the personal hearing to the petitioner.

Till 15.07.2024, operation of the arrest warrant shall remain stayed.

However, petitioner would be at liberty to avail his remedies as available to him under the law in case any further cause of action accrues. May 28, 2024 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
