***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the payment of medical reimbursement bill as per government policy.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner retired from service on 31.01.2012 on attaining the age of superannuation. In the month of June 2016, he was detected with a disease, Old L/t of Pulmonary Kocl Acute Pancreatitis ARF (Recovered) and was treated from the period i.e. 18.06.2016 to 21.07.2016 at Sri Guru Ram Dass Charitable Hospital, Sri Amritsar and is still getting treatment. He spent a sum of `76311/- and submitted bills amounting to `76,311/- to the respondents for Sonika 2017.09.29 12:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.19467 of 2017 --2-- reimbursement thereof but till date nothing has been paid. Even, a representation dated 02.04.2017 (Annexure P-3) was moved to the respondents but till date no action has been taken by the respondents. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide the representation dated 02.04.2017 (Annexure P-3) within a stipulated period. 4.

Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.4 and 5 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in his representation dated 02.04.2017 (Annexure P-3) and to decide the same, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved of the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
