Present petition is directed against the order passed by Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services), Bathinda whereby petitioner has been directed to pay an amount of `24,820/- alongwith costs to respondent no. 2 for theft of tyres and wheel rims. It has been urged before the court that Forum had no jurisdiction to decide the issue. The plea is misconceived. Section 22-C of the Act governs issues of such nature.
