Nachhattar Singh v. Financial Commissioner Appeals Etc.
In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Civil Writ Petition No. 24727 of 2014 Date of Decision: 11.2.2015 Nachhattar Singh ... Petitioner(s)
Versus
Financial Commissioner, Appeals, Punjab and Others ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajan Gupta.
Present: Mr. Rajinder Kumar Singla, Advocate for the petitioner(s).
Rajan Gupta, J.
Petitioner has sought writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing orders (Annexures P11 & P15) passed by Commissioner and Financial Commissioner, respectively.
A perusal of the orders shows that matter has been remanded to Assistant Collector Grade-I to prepare Naksha "Arra" as per sanctioned mode of partition. After arguing at some length, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to raise all his pleas before the Assistant Collector.
Under the circumstances, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. It is made clear that Assistant Collector 1st Grade shall consider all the pleas raised by the petitioner including documents, if any, which are referred to by him.
Petition is disposed of in above terms.
