By this petition, filed under the provisions of Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 16.10.2020 (copy Annexure P-9), thereby considering the candidature of the petitioner for the post of male Constable (General Duty). Learned counsel submits that in respect of his grievance, which is based on the instructions issued by the Director General of Police, Haryana, to the Secretary Haryana Staff Selection Commission, on 14.09.2020 (copy annexure P-8), the petitioner has made a representation to the Chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on 16.10.2020 (copy Annexure P-9), which has still not been decided.
