This petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents no.2 and 3 to arrest the private respondents in case FIR No.205 dated 21.4.2022 under Sections 120-B and 306 IPC registered at Police Station Pundri, District Kaithal.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Karambir, submits that the case has been duly investigated and a cancellation report has been prepared on 8.12.2022, which shall be presented in Court after approval of the concerned officers. It is further submitted that after the complainant's daughter committed suicide on 30.3.2022, he himself gave a statement that she died due to illness and he did not want to get the post-mortem, nor did he want any police action. A DDR in this regard is also recorded. It was only subsequently he made a complaint to the police leading to lodging of the FIR in question on 21.4.2022. After thorough investigation the allegations levelled have been found without substance.

In this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy, in accordance with law.
