**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking a direction to the official respondents to protect his life and liberty as he has been threatened by the private respondents. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 01.05.2023 (Annexure P-1) but no action has been taken thereon.

Issue notice to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. He upon instructions from HC Khushwinder Singh submits that no representation has been received from the petitioner.

The petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur - respondent No.2 that in the event of petitioner making an application with regard to the threat to him, respondent No.2 will look into the same and take action, if necessary, in accordance with law.
