Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant "Battle Casualty Benefits" to the petitioner, in addition to the relief already granted to a 100% disabled person, as he suffered 100% permanent disability.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for this purpose, petitioner got issued legal notice dated 01.09.2017 (Annexure P9) and subsequent reminder thereto dated 25.02.2018 (Annexure P10), which still remained unattended.
